I have been invited by US Ambassador James R. Keith to visit the US to take part in the US Government IVLP on I-Vote 2008.
I will start my journey tomorrow night to Washington DC. While there, I will also visit both Missouri and Boston to observe election campaigns in the two states.
Hence, this blog will take a rest for 2 to 3 days while I am traveling. However, I will blog live on what is happening in the US and will share my views on the global financial crisis and the presidential candidates' response to the crisis.
Stay tuned!

Dear all,
I will try my best to get a good and wide perspective of the US presidential election.
Thanks.
Im looking forward to the end of this election and seeing what the new president will do for us.
Dear Khoo,
Congrats on being nominated by the US to attend the US Govt ILVP.
We hope you can learn more about the US Elections Commission set-up and how they carry out their duties with utmost fairness during the elections to ensure the right candidate is voted in fair and square.
Some areas of importance that can be related to Malaysia are how the US govt handle postal votes in terms of transparency to ensure no hanky-panky; how soldiers who are stationed overseas are assigned their voting stations /location of state or town that their vote will be assign to; whether they encode the voting slip so that govt can track who votes for whom (like back in Malaysia so the govt can reprimand via demotion if one did not vote for the BN)etc etc
We need this insight to ensure that our next elections especially those regarding postal votes are not subjected to underhand-tactics which loopholes can be taken advantage of.
Have a productive trip and a safe journey back to Malaysia.
Regds.
